Your shopping day

I am really looking forward to shopping with you.

These questions help me plan your day properly, so we can spend it finding pieces you love rather than working it out in a change room. Most of it is just ticking boxes, so it will not take long.

Tick as many as you like, and skip anything that does not apply.

About five minutes  |  Please send it back two days before your booking

Part one

Who you are

In case I need to find you on the day.
Part two

Why now

What made you book this shopping trip?
Tick everything that rings true.
Is there an occasion driving it?
If the day goes perfectly, how do you want to feel afterwards?
Pick two or three.
Is anything about the day making you nervous?
I would rather know now than find out in a change room.
Part three

What you want to walk away with

What are you looking to buy?
What is the gap that keeps tripping you up?
The thing you reach for and it is not there.
Roughly how much are you hoping to come home with?
Optional, but the one place worth typing. A white shirt that is not see through is far more useful to me than some tops.
A range is completely fine. This is the fastest way for me to take you to the right racks, and I will never push you past it.
Do you want to buy on the day, or take a list away?
Part four

Sizing and fit

Rough is fine. I pull a size either side of whatever you tell me anyway, because sizing is different in every shop.

Optional. Helps me get lengths right the first time, which saves a lot of change room trips.
Optional. Only useful if we are looking at dresses, fitted tops or anything strappy.
Where do shops usually get it wrong for you?
One of the most useful things you can tell me. Tick anything that happens often.
Has your size changed recently, or is it likely to shift?
Optional. Parts you like to cover, parts you are happy to show, anything that has to feel a certain way. You do not need to explain why.
Part five

Your style

How do you want to look in your clothes?
Pick up to three.
What fills most of your week?
I want to buy you clothes for the life you have, not the one on Pinterest.
Have you had your colour analysis with Courtney?
Your season or sub season, whichever you remember. For example Warm Autumn, or Soft Summer.
Your absolute no go's
Things I should never bring into the change room.
Fabrics or care that are a problem
Optional.
Or send me photos of what you like
Not everyone keeps a Pinterest board, but everyone has a camera roll. An outfit you saw, a look on someone else, a piece you already own and want more of. A photo tells me more than a description ever will.
Got more than three? Text them to me and I will add them to your notes.
This tells me more about what will actually get worn than anything else on this form, so it is worth a sentence.
Part six

Shops

Just list them.
Just list them.
If you are skipping shops, why?
Anything about shopping environments that makes it hard for you?
Part seven

How you want me to work

There is no better or worse answer here. It is just how you like to be looked after.

On the day, would you rather
What do you want from me on the day?
How direct do you want me to be?
This one genuinely changes how I speak to you in a change room.
How would you like to handle the counter?
Just so we are clear, you pay for your own purchases on the day. This is only about who carries things up and stands in the queue.
If something is perfect but over budget, do you want to see it?
Photos on the day
Part eight

If you are shopping with someone

Skip this part if you are coming on your own.

Who are you shopping with?
How would you like to share the day?
If the day fills up, where would you like me to put the time?
It often does not come up at all, but it helps me to know.
How do you two normally shop together?
This comes straight to me and I will not repeat it. If there is something you want me to steer around, tell me here.
Part nine

The practical bits

Do you want a break built in?
Anything I should know about pacing the day?
Do you have a hard stop at the end of our session?
Your booking time is already set. This is just so I know how tight the finish needs to be.
Optional. For example school pickup at 3, or parking runs out at 4.
If we are running over, how would you like me to handle it?
A quick note on time. The first fifteen minutes past your finish time are on me. Anything beyond that is charged at $60 per half hour, and I will always check with you before we keep going.
Optional.

What to bring on the day

Wear something easy to get in and out of, and shoes you can slip off. Bring seamless underwear, and a strapless bra if we are looking at dresses. Bring your payment method for your purchases, and if there is a jacket or a pair of shoes you want to build outfits around, bring those too.
